These percher hats – favoured by people such as Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle – are a real joy to both make and wear! They are so versatile, and once you master this technique, you will have endless possibilities for your millinery creations!

We use a wooden shape to create the base of your hat, shaping the material around it – a process called blocking.

Come along to this workshop to learn this technique and make your very own, one-of-a-kind creation on the day, and take away the skills to make so many more too!

This workshop is suitable for beginners, and also for those of you who have attended any of my workshops previously, but please note there is a significant amount of hand-sewing! It’s a simple running stitch, but it does take time, so you need to be able to enjoy that too!

All materials and tools will be provided on the day, and I will supply all the links for materials if you wish to purchase more for your own use.

Suitable for beginners & suitable for vegans! Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be available on the day but you will need to bring something with you for lunch. There is one space on the driveway for parking, and on-street parking right outside.
