Fused glass jewellery is beautiful to wear and fun to make! It’s a fantastic way to have a play with glass fusing. With all the different colours and forms of glass available to you as well as metals, you are sure to make some fantastic wearable jewellery.
You will be taught how to make pendants and earring during the session, and choose from a variety of ways for the final assembly of your pieces. Holes drilled and the findings for 3 necklaces and a pair of earrings will be provided but more options are available for a small extra charge.
You will be shown how to safely use the tools and equipment and then it’s over to you (along with help and advice along the way) to turn your ideas into jewellery.
The class is made especially enjoyable by the setting; inside the grounds of the historic Red House Glass Cone. You could have lunch sitting by the canal or try our on site cafe. Take a walk around the beautiful historic building and visit the numerous other craft studios on site. Why not bring friends / family and make a day of it!
All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please ensure you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.
Your pieces will need to fired over night, but will be available for collection a few days after the course. Or they can be posted for a small additional postage fee.
