This fantastic glass engraving course is taught by glass artist Charlotte H Martin. In this one day class, students will be taught the basics of hand engraving glass. The workshop will cover technique and pattern, with students having the choice of creating their own designs or working with one of Charlotte’s many images. You will learn to engrave on both flat glass and create a personalised drinking glass to take home. This is a fun workshop – ideal for beginners wanting to spend a creative day making something special.

The class is made even more enjoyable simply by the setting. The Glass Quarter Designs studio is well equipped, and has an inspiring, creative atmosphere and of course is based at the wonderful Red House Glass Cone. You could have lunch sitting by the canal or try our on site cafe. Take a walk around the beautiful historic building and visit the numerous other craft studios on site.
All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please insure that you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing. Price £65 half day and £130 full day.
