Join fused glass artist Jane Ellis and lamp-work bead artist Sarah Cordingley for a wonderfully creative and fun filled day.
You will spend half the day learning how to make lampwork glass beads and the other half learning fused glass techniques. You will come away with jewellery and a fused glass masterpieces to be proud of!
Lamp-work glass – Sarah will teach you the basic techniques needed to create glass beads. You will have a great choice of colours and one on one tuition insuring you come away with a piece of jewellery you are sure to be thrilled with.
Fused Glass – Jane will walk you through the skills needed to create your own unique piece of glass. You can make either a wall hanger, set of coasters or a dish. Jane will show you how to cut break and layer the sheet glass in order to make your ideas come to life.

The class is made especially enjoyable by the setting; inside the grounds of the historic Red House Glass Cone. You could have lunch sitting by the canal or try our on site cafe. Take a walk around the beautiful historic building and visit the numerous other craft studios on site. Why not bring friends / family and make a day of it!
All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please ensure you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.
