Everybody loves a bit of sparkle, so why not come on this fused glass workshop, where you can make jewellery using iridescent glass (dichroic glass). You will learn how to create an image within the glass and can choose from a range of colours. Suitable for beginners or people wanting to learn a new technique. You will be taught how to cut, layer & etch on to the glass. Your pieces will then be fired and made into pendants or earrings for you to collect (we can post your finished pieces for a small cost).
The courses are held on the site of the Red House Glass Cone, near Stourbridge in the heart of the Glass Quarter. You can spend some time looking around the site, glass blowing demonstrations are held weekend afternoons. There is also a coffee shop on site but tea and coffee will be provided.
