Josephine will introduce you to the art of handcrafted jewellery making, using traditional techniques. You can learn at your own pace in a friendly and relaxed environment.
This jewellery workshop is a fantastic opportunity to try a new craft. In this class you will learn how to use traditional tools and jewellery making techniques. During the 6 hours you will firstly choose your design from a variety of samples, you will then be taken through the jewellery making process step by step until you have a beautiful, professional looking piece of silver jewellery to take home with you.
All materials, tools and equipment are provided, as well as refreshments. There will be a 30 minute break for lunch where you could visit our onsite cafe or bring your own lunch and sit by the canal.
This workshop usually runs on Saturdays & Wednesdays from 10-4pm, but days and dates are flexible upon request. Once the workshop has been purchased the artist will get in touch with you to arrange a date that suits. Unless it is a gift experience then a gift card will be sent out to you. Inside will be a website address for the gift recipient to follow detailing the course and the artists contact details. They can then contact the artist themselves to make arrangements.

The class is made even more enjoyable simply by the setting. Josephines studio is well equipped, and has an inspiring, creative atmosphere and of course is based at the wonderful Red House Glass Cone. You could have lunch sitting by the canal or try our on site cafe. Take a walk around the beautiful historic building and visit the numerous other craft studios on site.
All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please ensure you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.
