This is a brilliant contemporary glass course tought by glass artist Charlotte H Martin using techniques that are a couple of millennia old! The fantastic glass pieces you will create will not fade or alter over time. They will be permanently beautiful for the next 1000 years (just don’t drop it!)

Within the workshop you will learn how to cut glass safely, and different paint application techniques. The class will use our own method of glass painting, which gives a beautifully subtle three dimensional effect to the glass created.

All you need to bring is yourself and your enthusiasm! Though any pictures or subject material can be gladly incorporated into your work.

This workshop is a perfect experience to share with friends and family and would make a fantastic gift for a creative loved one. You can choose this gift option from the drop down menu.

The class is made even more enjoyable simply by the setting. The Glass Quarter Designs studio is well equipped, and has an inspiring, creative atmosphere and of course is based at the wonderful Red House Glass Cone. You could have lunch sitting by the canal or try our on site cafe. Take a walk around the beautiful historic building and visit the numerous other craft studios on site.

All materials and tools will be provided. No previous knowledge required. Please insure that you wear fully closed shoes and practical clothing.

Please call Charlotte on 07939 215293 to arrange the day you would like to attend this workshop.
